Description

The DiMarzio HS-2 Single Coil Size Humbucker Pickup in Aged White is a versatile and historically significant pickup that has been a favorite among guitarists since its introduction in the early 1980s. Designed as a humbucking replacement for Strat® guitars, the HS-2™ offers a unique blend of tonal qualities. In humbucking mode, it delivers a solid, natural sound that is cleaner and brighter than traditional humbuckers. When switched to single-coil mode, it produces one of the best vintage tones available, while its patented design minimizes noise compared to standard single-coil pickups. This makes it an excellent choice for use with rack systems and high-gain amplifiers. Key features include: - Classic Strat® configuration, compatible in all 3 pickup positions - Ability to mix with other models such as HS-3™ and HS-4™ - Suitable for H-S-H setups, particularly when paired with PAF Pro®, FRED®, Air Classic™, and The Humbucker From Hell® in neck and bridge positions - Wiring: 4 Conductor - Magnet: Alnico 5 - Resistance: 14.97 Kohm The HS-2™ is recommended for all positions, ensuring versatility in your sound.
