This model has been specifically designed to maintain the renowned blend of power and tone that has established the original Super Distortion as a worldwide standard for high-output humbuckers. Key features of the Super Distortion S include: - 4-conductor wiring for versatile parallel humbucking and split-coil modes - Tailored specifications for installation in the slanted bridge position of 25 ½” scale guitars - Enhanced treble response for smoother highs and tighter bass response - Excellent single-coil sound in split mode, avoiding the brittleness often found in other dual-blade Strat replacements The Super Distortion S is ideal for use in the bridge position of solid body guitars but can also be effectively used in the neck and middle positions.
