The DiMarzio DP176 True Velvet Bridge Pickup in Cream is designed to deliver a vintage single-coil sound that is both clean and bright, while ensuring that high strings maintain a sweet tone above the 12th fret. This pickup features a specially tuned coil that achieves a bright frequency range without sounding thin, making it ideal for a variety of playing styles. Key features of the True Velvet Bridge Pickup include: - A magnet stagger specifically designed to enhance string balance, providing excellent clarity even with full chords. - A slightly warmer and louder output compared to the Neck and Middle pickups, ensuring smooth and natural transitions between pickup positions. - Hand-ground magnets and vintage cloth-covered wire for authentic vintage tone and durability. This pickup is recommended for all positions and utilizes a Quick Connect system with no wiring required. It features a 2 conductor setup with Alnico 5 magnets and has a resistance of 6.49 Kohm.
