Its body is made of walnut, the top is made of solid spruce (Solid Top) and the neck is made of dark colored mahogany. This combination gives it a warm, balanced sound with clear overtones and plenty of sustain. A modern wood-plastic composite is used for the fingerboard, while rosewood is used for the bridge.
