These new snares are hand-crafted by their artisans in Sakae’s Lab-factory in Osaka, Japan.These new custom snares mark a new milestone in SAKAE’s pursuit of the best sound, quality and playability. Selecting the finest Walnut, (7 Ply 7.2mm hand selected Walnut) Sakae's skilled technicians refine the shells in their Lab-factory in Osaka to ensure a wide sound range, loudness, and a unique tone that only Walnut can deliver. To better cater to a wide range of players, the Walnut Snares are available in two sizes. A 14″ x 6.5″ for players who prefer a bigger sound with more presence, and a more accessible 14″ x 5.5″ model.
