With their broad range of tonal expression and superb playability, these recorders offer an ideal amount of air resistance for easy control. Competitive with more expensive wooden models, 300 series recorders come in a variety of styles including simulated wood finishes.

The new Yamaha YRA-324B three-piece recorder is Rottenburgh-style with Baroque-English fingering. It features an improved ,natural wood grain finish in simulated ebony, over a high-quality ABS resin body. Technical features include an arched windway plus double holes for low F/F# and G/G#.
