Description

In 1956, a small company from New Jersey invented an entirely new guitar. Its signature tone changed music forever. Now Danelectro is back with more tone and better playability than ever. With every instrument 100% set up in California, Danelectro will astound you!

The Danelectro '56 Singlecut Bass is packed with vintage vibe. Its short scale neck with 24 medium frets make this bass great for guitarists or smaller handed bassists.

The '56 Singlecut Bass features high impedance, high output Lipstick pickups that produce rich, round bass tones. With a few tweaks to the controls you'll get the classic '60s RnB tones. Unlike the concentric knobs found on Danelectro six string guitars the '56 Singlecut bass features separate volume and tone controls with vintage inspired control knobs.

This bass also features the Dolphin bottlenose shaped headstock with vintage style tuners.
