Description

Modular Synthesis The first synth modules to come out in the 60s tended to be unreliable; going from slightly to totally out of tune at various temperatures and being expensive since transistors at the time were a new invention and were only being used in a few electronics. But this didn’t stop artists like the Rolling Stones, Brian Eno, Depeche Mode and so many more from creating some of the greatest records we’ve ever heard. Modular synths were a landmark development in electronic music and today, it’s about to get better. 904A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED LOW PASS FILTER Enter the Behringer 904A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED LOW PASS FILTER Module. A vintage-sounding authentic reproduction of the circuitry from the “Modular 55, 35 & 15” Series from the 70s used by the world’s most famous pop, rock and jazz musicians for their shows. Now, musicians can build their very own, unique, synthesizer that can fit in a standard Eurorack case for a very affordable price. Mix and match specific modules to create your personal, unique synth to complement the music you play or go all out and fill a room, from floor to ceiling, with modules that’ll fulfill any synth geek’s wildest dream. Fixed Control Voltage The 904A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED LOW PASS FILTER features a cutoff frequency knob that lets you decide which frequencies to attenuate. The resulting frequency is determined by this knob giving you the ability to change your sound with one turn. Ins and Outs Three Control Inputs plus audio ins and outs are available to send the processed signal to other modules and to connect voltage signals from other modules to affect the cutoff frequency. Real-Time Access The 904A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED LOW PASS FILTER provides you control of the resulting frequency and internal feedback with the Fixed Control Voltage and the Regeneration knob. A switch also allows you to command the frequency range by letting you decide which frequency band you want to operate in. This gives you real-time access to all important parameters with one module. Eurorack Ready Installing the 904A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED LOW PASS FILTER is simple as it was designed to fit into a standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cables to the power supply and screw in the module using the included screws. This allows for the 904A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED LOW PASS FILTER to be mixed with other synth modules for a truly unique set up. Complete Your Collection Whether you’re just getting into modular synths or looking to complete your collection, the 904A VOLTAGE CONTROLLED LOW PASS FILTER module from Behringer is a great tool to have when creating amazing music.
